Fuck due process.  Fuck the rule of law.  Fuck law.  J. D. Vance's post on X/Twitter over the weekend about blowing the boat allegedly carrying drugs and smugglers from Venezuela to the U.S.

Killing cartel members who poison our fellow citizens is the highest and best use of our military.  

 Democrats: let's send your kids to die in Russia.  Republicans: Actually, let's protect our people from the scum of the  earth.

When another poster wrote back that assassinations without due process amount to war crimes, J. D. responded:

Rand Paul (of all people!) countered:

JD: "I don't give a shit" Vance says killing people he accuses of a crime is the "highest and best use of the military."  Did he ever read "To Kill a Mockingbird"?  Did he ever wonder what might happen if the accused were immediately executed without trial or representation?  What a despicable and thoughtless sentiment it is to glorify killing someone without a trial.

    Up to 75% of the people the administration sent to the notorious prison in El Salvador had no criminal record in the U.S. or anywhere else.  The deportation of people under the Alien Enemies Act has been found to be illegal.  The sending of troops to Los Angeles by the administration has been found to be illegal by a federal court.  Most of the tariffs imposed by the president have been found to be illegal by a federal court.  Most of the financial penalties imposed on Harvard University have been found to be illegal by a federal court.  The termination of DEI programs has been found to be illegal by a federal court.  The takeover of the U.S. Institute of Peace, the firing of FTC commissioners, the termination of temporary protected status for Haitians and Venezuelans, the executive order on birthright citizenship, all have been found to be illegal by federal courts.

As to all of these matters, we may safely assume that J. D. Vance, and his boss "don't give a shit."
