Daylight Saving Time
In bed at 9, awake around 4 DST, and up at 4:15 to take 2 8-hour Tylenol tabs and apply Diclofenac to my shoulder. 29°, windy, high of 43°, sunny day ahead,. The wind is NNW at 16 mph, 7-17/28. Sunrise at 7:11 at 94°E, sunset at 6:52 a 266°W, 11+41. Solar noon at 1:01, altitude 43°.
Treadmill; pain. Shoulder pain was a problem through the night, making me wonder if perhaps I overstretch muscles or tendons doing my PT. The pain seems to center in the deltoid muscle and extends down the upper arm. The PT stretches.
I'm grateful for Jim Reck. Mike posted another lovely memorial to him on FB this morning and I commented: "I lit a candle for him early this morning when I got up. It's an old Irish Catholic custom, one of many that your Mom and I grew up with. The previous commenter says your Dad "was a very sweet person" and I will second that thought. It's a tribute to his character that with all the hardship and harshness that he grew up in, he turned into such a caring man.. I'm looking at the burning candle and thinking lots of warm thoughts about your Dad, what a tough guy he could act on the outside and what a softie he was inside. I also want to second the thought that you have inherited so much of the kindness and goodness that existed in abundance in both your Mom and your Dad.❤"
