In bed at 10 and up at 5:10.  Let Lilly out and loaded dishwasher.  29°, high of 38°, sunny day, wind SSW at 6 mph, 2-7/15.  Sunrise at 7:19, sunset at 4:18, 8+59.     

Treadmill; pain.  CPP/RP all morning.  30:00 & 0.59 while watching the last part of the Frontline program on Netanyahu.

I'm grateful to be alive, but tired.   Chronic pain / Saps my brain.😞

Frontline last night: Netanyahu, American & the Road to War in Gaza.  The program reminded me that it was Netanyahu as the leader of Likud who roused tremendous opposition to the Oslo Peace Accord from Israel's ultrareligious and right wing security advocates.  And it was Netanyahu who rose to power after his attacks on the government led by Yitzak Rabin were followed by the assassination of Rabin by a 25 year old right wing 'patriot.'  Rabin had been pictured in a Nazi uniform and wearing a Palestinian kafiyyah and was the subject of cheers "Death to Rabin" and "In blood and fire we will expel Rabin."  It was at the conclusion of a peace rally that Rabin was gunned down by the young assassin.  Rabin's widow blamed Netanyahu for inciting the extremism of the right wing and doing nothing to stop it.  In the next election, after Hamas-directed suicide bus bombings, Netanyahu was elected and the peace process and the "two state solution" were dead.
