Meds, etc. Lasix #3 at 6:10 a.m. Morning meds w/ chlorthalidone later. Antibiotics working on my gut and stomach, Lasix on head: dizzy. 201.9 at 10 a.m.
Khadieja M. Khalid, M.D. is my infectious disease specialist at the VA. She made me wait a full hour past my appointment time, but I understood why when I got in to see her: she is very thorough. She is also very personable and, as I thought during the last part of my visit, " I think I've fallen in love with her."😋 She is young, but she has clearly 'been around.' Her very brief bio on the Medical College of Wisconsin website reads: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Obstetrics - Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland-Medical University of Bahrain - Muharraq (2012).
Curious factoid: Every Democratic presidential nominee since 1980 went to law school. Good or bad?
