1984 Apple Computer unveiled its Macintosh personal computer in a Super Bowl ad

I found this note from Tom while rummaging through the center drawer in my bedroom desk.  The envelope is postmarked April 9, 2022.  He died on January 18, 2023.

In bed at 9:30, awake at 4:00 and up at 4:20.  It is 4° outside, heading down to 3° and then up to 19°.  The wind is 278° Westerly at 9 mph with gusts today up to 16 mph.  Sunrise at 7:14 and sunset at 4:53.  

Prednisone, day 280, 5 + 2.5 mg,, day 17.  Prednisone at 5:05.  Other meds around 7 a.m.   2.5 mg. prednisone at 4:30 p.m., along with Trullicity injection.     

Geri came out around 6 a.m. and I can tell she is still miserable from a week of pain, nausea, relatively little activity, irregular diet, irregular sleeping patterns, and  having to rely on Sue and me when she is ordinarily so self-reliant.  It's hard to see her like this, heart-aching.  Today is Sue's last day with us.  She has been a tremendous help for both Geri and me.

LTMW at 7:30 a.m., at least a dozen birds, mostly house finches, pecking away at the sunflower and safflower seeds  I spread under the niger tube.  I forgot to fill the sunflower/safflower tube yesterday afternoon but thankfully it's still more than half full and clearly there are seeds on the ground and suet cakes available.
